I replaced the thermistat on my 1997 Chrysler Town & Country minivan and per the directions in my manual, I drained enough coolant from the drain petcock to loewr the level below the intake hose. Now when I close the petcock, I have about a 1 drop per second leak. Any ideas? I have tried flushing the seat of the petcock with no luck.

I think those petcocks have like a rubber o ring seal on them if i'm not mistaken. maybe see if you can get a new o ring or replace the petcock

Tighten it a little more with a pair of pliers
