98 chevy prizm;I spray ethanol into intake helps start ,suspect
fuel pressure regulator, since she runs okay, little hesitant when I
stomp on her. Coolant temp sensor ohms right on!

Maybe Its not gas. The problem could be ignition system, but check fuel pressure 98-99 Prizm MFI 1.8, should be 44-50 psi fuel pump pressure at any operating range.

Thanks, I'll check, problem is at initial start up, plenty of spark
from coils to plugs otherwise

Change your spark plugs and use the recommended plug in a non platinum plug.

I agree with promech.And one thing remember that applying any thing in your vehicle first yo should take advice from the engineer.They suggest you the right thing.
